Published today, the results show final-year students rating their experience more positively across all seven published NSS themes, with particularly strong gains in organisation and management, academic support, and assessment and feedback.
In the Student Voice category the University of Brighton is now No.1 on the South Coast at 81.2%, above Bournemouth, Chichester, Portsmouth, Solent, Southampton, Sussex and Winchester.
The strong results build on a series of student accolades for Brighton over the past year, including being named the UK's most LGBTQ+ friendly university, and being voted the best university in Europe by international students. Brighton was also named one of the Top 50 cities in the World by Time Out and in the Top 10 for studentlife in the Uni Compare rankings. In May the Brighton Boost programme was awarded Bronze at the 2026 Whatuni Student Choice Awards (WUSCAs).
