Dr Dawn Scott, Assistant Head of the university's School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences, along with colleague Dr Bryony Tolhurst and PhD student Naomi Charman, will feature in two films on urban foxes and will take part in a live broadcast.
The University of Brighton team and Autumnwatch presenter Chris Packham will follow the lives of two urban fox families in the series which starts on 29 October on BBC2.
There are estimated some 33,000 urban foxes in the UK and are a common sight in many cities. The BBC has been working with the University of Brighton to show how foxes can coexist with humans.
Last year, Dr Scott and Dr Tolhurst appeared on Channel 4's "Foxes Lives: Wild in the City" in which she tracked and followed urban foxes in Brighton.
